Car towed away by Marston

Hello,I need some help Cos my car was towed away from marston 2days after I bought the car private from random seller.I have an sale invoice hand writing by the seller and the new keeper sleep,my own road tax and my own insurance but they took the car away Cos apparently old keeper was having some unpaid fines!!!marston holding a car for more then week playing games with me,what can I do to get the cAr back?

You need to submit a Part 85 Claim - Google it.

Your invoice should preferably be printed on a headed form. You will also need to show how it was paid and the tax & insurance should show the same date as that when it was purchased.

I bought the car on Sunday,everything I mean tax,insurance starts on Tuesday,that’s the day when they take a car away.

I have not done one of these but as far as I am aware you need to submit under Part 85.4.1 and send it to the Enforcement Agent or in this case Marstons.

The guy who I bought the car from said he will remove everything within 2 or 3 days.I live local to where I bought the car from,about 10 min drive
