I bought a 999y leasehold terraced house two years ago in Liverpool and I pay a little ground rent every year. Even though the ground rent is so little I would like to buy the freehold for several reasons so I asked the property management company (Simarc Property management limited)* for a quotation.
I was replied that to get a quotation I will have to pay*120 pounds* So I'm going to pay this fee to know how much is the freehold purchase price.
Have anybody experienced anything similar? I mean have anybody already bought the freehold of a property through a management company or maybe just with Simarc?
I haven't read good reviews on this management Property company so I'm a bit afraid there will be other issues after paying this quotation fee...
