  • Newbie on board, stressed and looking for advice on Parkingeye County Court Claim

Hi I have just received a claim form from the County Court Business Centre Northampton with the claimant as ParkingeEye Ltd, an issue date of 17th February 2020 for a total amount of approximately £200.* I moved house in December 2019 and it was received in a bundle of postage passed on to me by the Landlord following the other tenant leaving at end of January.* There was no other correspondence from Parkingeye passed to me.* I am the registered keeper of the vehicle but don't know whether I was driving at the time.* I have acknowledged receipt to the Court by post and stated that I intend to defend the whole amount claimed.* *Should I contact Parkingeye to ask them for details of the claim and any previous correspondence sent to me* or do I have to do this through the Court?* Thanks in advance for any advice that you can offer.

    Hi and welcome.

I believe you will need to contact the company directly which you can do via a Subject Access Request (SAR). Our shortcuts box on the right hand side has a template letter you can use.
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.
