Hi i'm new here and I have read so many threads regarding CCJ's however I haven't found any that give me the information I need.
My car was cloned in 2017 around the time I gave birth, I received approx 20 fines and appealed them all. A few were accepted and the rest weren't. I felt helpless as despite the fact I sent the incident reference number and my daughters birth certificate they didn't care. I often rang the police in tears and went into the police station twice for help, I was always told to ignore all the letters as there is nothing they can do, if a bailiff were to arrive I was advised to call the police and they would send them away. I ended up with bad post natal depression and it took me until recently to recover. Anyway It turns out one of these company's took me to court and had a CCJ registered against me. I spoke with a solicitor yesterday who said I could pay the CCJ by consent and have it removed.
So today I have an email from the company confirming If i pay the CCJ they will sign a consent form, so I paid it. Now I need help on drawing up the consent form. I have no idea what it should say? I would really appreciate if someone can help me.
Also would the court actually listen to the consent form or can they ignore it and leave the CCJ on my file? I resent paying it as it wasn't me and its fraud really but I will never know who cloned my car especially as it was miles away from where I live. I am currently in a situation where I am homeless with 3 kids due to a relationship breakdown and need the CCJ removing so I can get a new home, I have literally just spent every penny I was saving on paying off the CCJ and now after reading threads on here, i'm panicking that they might not even remove it.
