Hi good people, I really hope for a little advice, maybe I can sleep then ! a credit card debt passed on to a dca 9-10 years awith a ccj affixed, ( day this came this was allegedly judged I rang Northant's court, told my name was not down, I didreceive a blue official letter,) because £700 was added straight away with no accounting for it, I refused to get in touch or paid anything, so no arrangement by court or anyone took place, I had no communication till 2 years ago, and again now feb 2020, after all this time a dca rep is going to call on me( uninvited) altogether 6 different associate companies have made contact, I never replied, ater all this time where do I stand ? why have I never been put in court after 10 years? I would appreciate any advice, many thanks

If they have a CCJ ie A County Court Judgment on the debt, theyve taken you to court so dont need to do anything else apart from enforce the judgment, which they would now need courts permission to doI work for Roach Pittis Solicitors. Thank you for the comment, I read online that they had to do so if 6 years passed, and not always granted because of the time lapse etc, do you know if this may be true? also, if true why wait so long and involve another 6 associate companies, it leaves me baffled !
