The parking space is shared between several companies on the campus where the dedicated spaces are allocated and marked for each company. The landlord has introduced the ticketing system and brought in One Parking Solutions to help the situation and avoid employees parking in other company's spaces. As a result, all employees were given the permit discs as well.
I am an employee of one of the companies on the campus and parked on the company's designated space, where I have been parking every day for years now. Being the employee of the company makes me eligible to park on the space where I parked on the day. In addition, I have my permit disc, which proves I have permission to park in that space.
I forgot to put my permission disk on the dashboard on the day and got a PCN by One Parking Solutions stuck on my windscreen.
This, however, should not mean I violated the parking rules because I can prove I am eligible to park there. My appeal to One Parking Solutions was rejected because the permit disc was not visible to the officer on the day.
In summary, my view is that I did not violate the parking rules and will keep parking on the same space every day going forward because this is my permanent place of work and the parking space is allocated to my employer and I also have a valid parking permit disc. Also considering this is a civic matter I did not break any law and therefore I don't think I should be punished and charged the fine of £60 and £100 after 14 days. I also appealed to POPLA but haven't got a response yet.
My questions are as follows:
Thank you

My questions are as follows:
- What do you think about the situation? What would you do?
- Will One Parking Solutions take me to court? If yes, what are the likely outcome to be?
- At what point it can affect my credit history?
Thank you
