  • CCJ passed from VCS to Elms Legal

I was hoping I can get help with this. Received a letter from VCS after being issued a CCJ to say that they will allow 10 days to pay the judgement before passing this on the Elms Legal to which a £90 fee will be added. Unfortunately this has passed, and after contacting them they have confirmed that they are no longer able to deal with the matter and to contact Elms Limited to pay off the debt.

I want to pay this off to remove the CCJ from my credit file but can they make me pay an extra fee and to another party?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
