  • Help with builders

Hi hope someone can help. New neighbors are ripping house out and doing work. Builders have damaged their yard wall by storing heavy scaffolding. Realising this they have moved the heavy scaffolding to the party wall. I have asked the neighbors to get this removed as I'm concerned this wall will not take the weight also the rods are leaning on my outrigger tiles. The party wall is also the inside wall of my utility room (the outrigger)* and my seating area outside. They keep saying they've told the builder but I'm presuming this is an issue for them to resolve not the builder. I don't think party wall act covers this as it's not work that's potential going to damage the wall but the storage of heavy scaffolding. Can anyone advise me of my rights and what to do?

Is the "party wall" built astride the boundary or wholly on your side of the boundary?
