Help!! claim for from county court

Hi! Any help is appreciated!!

Please can someone help me. I parked in a car park under my doctor surgery and didn’t realise that there was a time limit for the stay.*

A few weeks/months later I received a parking fine from UK Car park which I chose to ignore, I must have received others but I don’t remember and now I have been sent a claims form from county court for:
Amount claimed: £169.23
Court fee: £25.00
legal representatives costs: £50
Total amount; £244.23

I don’t think this is fair. All I did was park to go see a doctor the signage was not clear what so ever, I don’t even remember seeing a sign!

Shall I pay or try and defend myself?

So wait until day 5 after the issue date and acknowledge the claim using the details and password on the form. This gives you 33 days from the date of issue to get your defence to the court. Have you got the original claim form from UKPC?

Thank you I will acknowledge the claim and prepare my defence, do you have any idea of what type of defence I should start?

nope I do not have the original claim from UK car park, the surgery have advised they are not at fault as it’s not there car park!
