If a man has been put on bail and has been told he cannot go near his ex partner and then goes to court where he pleads not guilty to the changes and is let go on bail without conditions, does it mean that he is still not allowed to go near his ex partner or does it mean that the court has dropped the bail condition of him being told to keep away? We are so puzzled and no one to ask. Thank you

Court bail conditions will replace any earlier conditions. The court would state the bail conditions - usually either as 'the conditions are X, Y and Z' or 'we grant bail under the same conditions as the police bail, X,Y and Z'. If a condition to stay away was not included in the court bail conditions then it is not a condition - this however doesn't mean that it's a wise idea to approach the other party.Originally posted by Guest View PostIf a man has been put on bail and has been told he cannot go near his ex partner and then goes to court where he pleads not guilty to the changes and is let go on bail without conditions, does it mean that he is still not allowed to go near his ex partner or does it mean that the court has dropped the bail condition of him being told to keep away?
