Family inheritance

Hi my family are awaiting monies from a inheritance, all paperwork has been signed and all that is left to do is give details of bic codes and iban codes for transfer of monies. Everyone has done this apart from one member of the family. Will this stop the rest of us getting our share ?

Depends on the executor, but for tidiness most would prefer to deal with all at the same time

General legacies of money should be paid within 12 months of death and if payment is delayed beyond a year (for whatever reason* sometimes delay in unavoidable, or the estate simply takes that long to deal with) the beneficiaries are entitled to receive interest on top of their legacy calculated from the year anniversary of death.
