Probate - executor taking payment to pass on to beneficiary

Hi,* I am a beneficiary in a will in the UK and have been living in France for the last year but am still tax resident and have bank accounts in the UK, the executor is telling me it is best for my share to be paid to him and then him pay me to avoid having to identify me or something.* Is there a real issue with identifying a beneficiary who lives in another country?

You are already identified in the will.* You have a bank account etc.* Send him your UK bank account details.

The solicitor appointed by the executor should only take instructions from the executor.
I would suggest you tell the executor that you wish for your legacy to be paid into your UK bank account sort code & account number, and send a copy to the solicitor.
