Hello to everyone.Recently I was involved in an incident where a woman driver who was doing a 3 point reverse hit my passenger side rear door and wing, driving out without looking right.Usually I always let people come out but this time I was already there with approx 28 mph and the light was green,no cars in my back so I was thinking she can wait 2 seconds for me to pass. After making a claim to insurrance they have approved that it`s not my fault and NCD wasn`t affected, even a 3 years old child could see that it is impossible for me to hit her with my rear side while driving forward. The problem is that after she went home, she contacted a solicitors company where she lied that I have flashed her out and then drove into her.Haven`t really bothered with this until today, when my insurrance company called me informing that now she bringed an independent witness who is confirming that I have flashed her.The insurrance company said they will fight this case in court for me if necessary, but the question is can I loose this case? Can this life be so unfair and because of two lying persons end up being guilty?Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

You had right of way.
You may or may not have flashed your headlights.
If you did that is not a signal to indicate she may "come out" (who cares if she is that way inclined anyway)
All that signal does is to highlight your presence on the road.
No driver should assume that flashed headlights mean (s)he is* being given right of way, It could just as easily mean* "watch out I'm coming through"
Your insurers will win
