Highview parking charge

Hi I'm new to this site and wondered if anyone could help me, I've just received a parking charge from Highview Parking as it said I exceeded the 3 hour parking allowance at the local retail park I didnt see the signs and in my quest to visit a few shops there i went over by 26 minutes! I've never had any experience of a parking charge apart from the fact that it's not a fine as such, is there anything I can do to have the charge retracted? I have absolutely no idea where to start!

The first thing is edit so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred, use "the driver ......" etc

Post up a copy of the NTK you received, suitably redacted but leave dates

If the driver made a purchase then go back to the store and complain
