I’m joint executor with my sibling, she wants to sell our late fathers house to her friend under the market value I would like to give it a chance on the open market, she is refusing saying that her way is quicker and less hassle. I feel my dads house is worth more where do I stand*

As joint executors you must act in unison.
If you cannot come to an agreement (and it is worth trying really hard) you should both seek independent legal advice

If an agreement still cannot be reached, and the Estate administration cannot be progressed as a result, then it may be possible to for one Executor to apply to the Court to have the other removed. Under the Administration of Justice Act 1985, the Court has a discretionary power to remove an Executor from the Grant of Representation if they believe this to be in the best interests of the Estate. They also have the power to appoint a substitute Executor in their place, but if there is already another appointed Executor ready and willing to act, this may not be necessary.

Have you had several valuations by different estate agents?
Are the savings on costs (no agents fees etc) off set by the lower offer price?
