  • My husband left for England a few years ago. I live in US. Need to file for divorce

My husband left for England a few years ago. I live in US. We are still in a registered marriage, but in fact we do not maintain any relationship. I have been living with another man for a long time. We want to arrange a marriage. Need to file for divorce. What should I do in this situation?

You should be able to file for a divorce without having to find him, just show he has been "missing" for a long time. You may have to show you tried to locate him.

However this is a UK based site.

In fact you could try to do it online if you have nothing to share with your ex. When I decided to move on, I just completed the form, filled in some info and decided to save up a bit, so found quick cheap divorce It was a relief, cuz I really needed a fresh start without trying to reach my ex, who moved to Frisco.
