  • Grievance and GDPR

Hi - I’m currently going through a (malicious)grievance investigation against me and have just found out that the employee has had a union rep attending during the process. My question is do I have any rights under GDPR as Ihave not given consent for my personal information to be shared outside my companies standard grievance procedure and the union is outside my companies union (ie it’s the *RCN union and the employee is not employeed as a registered nurse).*

Currently just going through the investigation stage so hasn’t progressed to a hearing as yet. I don’t have the right to have representation during the investigation stage. Also I was advised of the complaint on the 13th Nov. Had the first meeting mid January during which I had no idea what the allegation was and had a further follow up call today with more questions when I learnt that the next meeting is 20 Feb as the accuser wanted the same rep to attend - 12 weeks! *Feel this is all very one sided and concerned that my personal reputation is being damaged along with my health. Any thoughts?
