I was caught shop lifting in January I was wondering how long do the letters take to start coming in and how long they will sent letters for as I’m on the understanding that the fine doesn’t need to be paid as they got all the stuff back and could still sell on.*

    It is NOT a FINE.
Fines are only levied by the courts
    Ignore their letters

Time taken to send their demands varies (probably depends how quickly the retailer contacts them and how busy they are)
If you are desperate to read them you can do so here:https://legalbeagles.info/forums/for...rs-rlp-and-dwf

6 weeks isn't unusual for the first letter, sometimes longer.
But then sometimes nothing arrives, perhaps details get lost or retailer doesn't bother.. who knows?
