I have received a debt collection letter and legal action notice from zzps.
i parked in a CEL car park for 31 minutes and visiting a shop nearby which is signposted in the car park as free parking for customers, I only visited the shop to seek advice and have so far ignored the letters. should I continue to ignore and do I have a case to defend myself if it reaches a court stage? Thanks

Ignore is not a good idea, and neither is hinting at the driver.* Get editing!

So what did you receive from CEL?

If two letters from CEL and then two from zzps are received the latter of which threatening court action, what is the best course of action at this stage?*

Until you post up the redacted PCNs what can we comment on?
