Hello,i am very new to this sort of thing, i am very much a boomer! I am heart broken to say that my 2 beautiful grandchildren have been taken into care, and i am the ONLY member of both families who wants them. The problem being that i am disabled and because my health was really bad 2 years ago, i was told i may not get the girls. A lot has changed in 2 years and my health has improved so very much. can anyone pls advise me? Those girls should be with family, i am the only family they have who wants to love and keep them safe. what doi do as i know grand parents do not have rights. I am totally ashamed of how my son and his "ex" have behaved, I have even been asked to lie/ not to tell social services things. But i MUST put the babies needs first, The girls are the important ones.
family really matters
