Hi, I received original notice to keeper parking charge notice of £60 in Dec 2017. I remember considering it a ‘spoof’ and wrote back contesting it. I heard nothing until Nov 2019! I then received a demand from bwlegal for the £60 plus £100 legal fees. I tried emailing with no response then wrote requesting ‘proof of fault’. I f I pay the original £60 I do not feel happy to pay the additional £100. I feel two years is a rediculous amount of time to receive this demand. Am I likely to get into bother if I don’t just pay the total?????? Regards Anxious party

They are hoping you won't respond and will take it to court.* Would be interested in seeing the redacted BWL letter, especially that £100 legal fees.
If you still have that original Notice to Keeper can you post it up suitably redacted.
If you don't have the notice then a SAR to PPS requesting all the information they have about you and your car especially the Notice to keeper and their response to your previous appeal.* They have upto 30 days to respond.
Write to BWL disputing the debt and stating that you have not received any response to the appeal you raised and to hold any further action until you receive a response to your SAR request.
There is a SAR template on the forum
