Hi. I'm due to complete my house sale & move to Scotland next week. I have a very old Charging Order on the house, originally from Egg credit card (now Barclaycard). My solicitors only found out today that Bryan Carter/Frederickson International, to whom the debt was sold, have ceased trading. They are meant to have given accounts back to original owners, but I've rung Barclaycard 3 times & they're adamant FI have the debt & were unaware they've ceased trading. I am now left unable to sell until I find out who to pay.. Googling has had me in tears, tales of people spending thousands & going through all sorts of legal hoops & still bring trapped by a CO to a ghost company. Can anyone advise? I gave up my business in October ready to move & there's Bern enough delays. If this sale falls through I'm absolutely stuck. Barclaycard don't want to take any responsibility. Many thanks for any advice. I'm going to contact the CCJ court & Land Registry tomorrow but I need quick action.*
Help! Cant trace Frederickson International charging order so cant sell my house
