  • VT with Barclays Partner Finance

Hi, I'm looking to VT my car as of the 12th February (this is when the final payment is due out - will have paid 50%). Can I write them a letter stating I am terminating as of this date or is it best to wait until 12th February and terminate it immediately.*

Also, I have a private registration on my car and Barclays sent me out the paperwork to VT it which I am not signing however it has my private registration and not the old one which will be getting placed back on the car. I called and Barclays stated I didn't have to make them aware as long as the old pates are on the car when this is dropped off. Is this correct? as i'm confused as to why the paperwork states my private registration and not the cars original one. I have a feeling as to when I go to drop the car off they will not take it if the old plate is on.*

    Thank you*
