Hi there hope someone can guide me through defending a recent county court claim against me .I received the claim form with issue date of 16/1/2020,the alleged debt is for a credit card through vanquis bank which says was assigned to the claimant Cabot financial uk ltd and they seem to be using solicitors called Mortimer Clarke. After reading some of the forums post regarding defending such claims I have acknowledged the claim wishing to defend all of it on the*22 / 1/2020*and I am currently in the process of writing A ccs request to the claimant which seems straight forward but need a bit of advise on the cpr request to the solicitors. They seem to be very vague in the particulars of the claim which says ,By a agreement between vanquis bank and the defendant on or around 18/11/2014(the agreement).Vanquis bank agreed to issue the defendant with a credit card. The defendant failed to make the minimum payments due &the agreement was terminated. The agreement was assigned to the claimant. The claimant therefore claims ***** .cost.I believe I can only ask for documentation referred to in this vague claim but surely they must have issued a default notice which is not mentioned, however after looking at my credit file online I see that it states there is a default on the alleged debt dated 30/9/2015 not sure if one was received or not and by who it was from. It would be of great help if someone can cast there eyes on the Information I have given and advise me on my next steps .Kindest regards Rangy1963
