  • Disabled parking bay infringement

We regularly park in a disabled designated bay in the Rhiw MSCP in Bridgend. my wife or I display my wife's blue badge on the dash board and I assemble her mobility scooter before going into town. We have done this since she had her badge about three years ago. On the 20th January however, we forgot to display the badge and we received a PCN. I have a clean driving licence and can only recall receiving 2 parking fines in my younger days. I sent off a letter to the Rhyl address to appeal* and also rang the number shown on the notice. I was unable to get any assurance that my letter would do me any good and should be pleased if anyone has any experience of my problem

Didn't display blue badge in Council run car park... chances of an appeal being successful are remote.
I would suggest pay early to take advantage of the discount.
Pepipoo might produce more advice (http://forums.pepipoo.com/)
