Hi folks. This morning at about half past seven a "bailiff" showed up at my home address and stayed outside until about half past ten. During the course of his loiter at about half eight he clamped my van and left a note on the windscreen explaining that he had immobilised the vehicle and to contact him to arrange for payment of owed monies and removal of the clamp. I didn't bother to contact him as I was able to just change the wheel ( without damage to the clamp) and move the vehicle if I chose to. I was going to do the wheel change this evening and then move the van to a secret location but at about half past four this evening he returned and hung about for an hour then removed the clamp and left. Can anyone explain why this happened? Thanks. Iain.*
