Hi my car was parked at a pub car park on private land as I was going in the pub for a function evening,I payed the £3.00 for I think 4 hours i didnt realise I had to put my registration in first so continued to put my money in and the machine gave me a ticket,I didnt realise anything was wrong and even took the ticket into the pub to have money off either it was a drink or something,can't remember, until I got the charge for not paying and displaying,which I did, I didnt keep the ticket and didnt receive the charge letters as I had moved house,until it was too late and sent to PPLegal debt collectors and £170.00 later,which is ridiculous, can anyone advise as have 2 weeks suspension to send in writing to the debt collects...I really Do Not want to pay £170.00 and wondering if court would be best,and the can surely check on there machine that a ticket was issued at that time on that date, thanks*
