Voluntary termination hp

Hi folks.A week ago I finished my hire purchase contract with MotoNovo.I can mention the car was Renault Megane 2007 6 owners.Mannheim charged me with nearly 700£ damaged.They did not ask me to sign or anything like this.I'm sure I'm not gonna pay that amount for a car which is 13 years old.Motonovo did not send any letter yet.What should I do next?!Any advice?!Many thanks
