  • Parking fine from CP plus Ltd

Hi I really need some help please, I first received a letter on the 13th December 2019 regarding a Parking fine for the 2015 , this was the first correspondence I had received and was from dcbl who are the debt collectors . I rang the alternative number given a day later and left a message, no reply, emailed and automated reply, so today I rang held on for an hour, hate to think how much that cost as not free number, I requested photo graphic evidence, but was told they are only the recovery so do not have documentation , I asked who supposedly issued the ticket High View Parking , CP Plus Ltd, so I'm assuming g this is my next port of call e-mails to both ? Any help would be great thank you . Treez

So SAR request to the parking company to request all documents regarding you and the VRM of your car.

No phone calls* keep it to writing.* Surely the letter from DCBL identifies their client?

DCBI say only details they have are address and owner of car, their job is to send two letters in 14 days to escalate it, which they have done, did tell me who their client was i.e. High view parking/CP Plus limited so as you advise write to them which I will do, thank you for your help.

It can't be both, it's either Highview OR CP Plus. Or do you mean D R Plus?

Whoops, just researched and Highview and CP Plus are part of the Nexus Group, CP Plus t/a Nexus Group.

My son has just had three of these, all similar dates, from DCBL, don't identify CPPlus as the client. I am sure one of these charges has already been thrown out of court in 2016, because the car was registered in Scotland and this was a English CAR park on the M5. Pretty sure they will have to go to court first before they can go any further.

Pretty sure CPPlus have to take you to court first, DCBL have no right to request money from you without a court action from thier client. I think these are hopeful scare letters, but I am just a layman so don't take my word for it.

DCBL are acting as simple debt collectors and have no other authority.* Their letter usually says this*
