Deferred interest

I want to settle a loan with elderbridge first plus which is around 6000 but if I pay this I have been told that I will still have a balance of 5000 deferred interest taking the sum to 11000 to settle I was not aware of this total loan 10.000* total repayment 29.0000

must be a huge interest rate or the loan is over an ice age !!!! Take a look at the agreement and see what it says about early redemption.
