Pay £8.00 a month for heating breakdown. 2 months ago had a heating breakdown, called in, paid a £75 excess and was told engineer would attend in a few hours. 2 hours later gor a call stating that engineer could not call for 2 days so hired a local plumber to do the job which cost me almost £200.00. Being over 80 and with health issues, company class me as vulnerable. Got my £75 excess back but can I claim the £197.00?
