  • Civil Enforcement Ltd County Court letter received 20/12/19

    Good Morning

My wife has received a letter from CE regarding a unpaid parking on a private land on 21/01/19

This is next to a pub, on a private road which both of us use to park our vehicles overnight, since there is no other allocated parking around the area. However few years ago, the GM who used to work at the pub issued both of us a Staff Parking Permit, and she has had hers always displayed on the windscreen. For this reason we have ignored the letters received directly from CE.
Since receiving the court letter,* I have AOS yesterday and I am now reading through forums on what actions to take.

From what I understand the first thing I need to do is send a SAR request to CE for them to release all the information they hold about her ?
Also I really dont know what template to use for the defense because we knowingly park there, but under the impression that we have permission to park.
Can anyone provide some advice where to start next ?

    Thank you
