  • Hi, needing employment law advice

Hi all, I am a lorry driver. I work for a company in Rainham Essex. I park the lorry in Barnsley south Yorkshire. On a Monday I drive down to Essex and then drive back on Friday and the lorry stays there over the weekend, I have been doing this for 11 years. Now my employer wants the lorry in Essex over the weekend so is expecting me to commute to Essex. This is a 194 mile journey each way. I believe this is totally unfair and they should make me redundant as this is too big a change to my employment contract, what are your thoughts please ?
