  • MBNA CCA received from 2009 but my last statement has different interest rates

    Hello everyone,

I have been looking in this forum and seen some very good advice. My own story is that I separated and then later got divorced and my debt built up in the years inbetween. In December 2012 I was mostly lucky, all creditors bar one stopped interest and I did a DMP with Step Change. One creditor on an unsecured debt however was totally awful, CCJ awarded against me that I never knew about, I only found out when I received the papers for a Charging Order! Funny how the CCJ papers never reached me by the CO ones did. But that's not why I am here.

I requested a CCA from Link Financial for my credit card debt with MBNA (Virgin Money). They have sent me something but I am not sure that it is correct. I have my last statement from MBNA and it shows the interest they were charging me and if I take the monthly figure and multiply it by 12 months, is not the same as in the agreement they have sent me. The agreement must have been over the internet too as there is a tick in the signature box.

Is there anywhere I can find out what an MBNA agreement should have looked like in 2009. I did search this site and found one or two others but not looking like mine.

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
