  • bwlegal parking notice

Hi, I am just creating this thread because I'm unsure of what to do. in 2017 I received a parking charge notice for not displaying a parking permit in my windscreen which proved I lived there so I can park. However at the time I was heavily pregnant and had to carry my shopping into the house so it just slipped my mind. Anyway, I did live at the address with my ex-boyfriend so he could prove I was also a tenant at the address. Since I have received the notice In 2017 I have ignored them because I have seen lots of reports online about how they are just a "scam" and that I shouldn't take any notice. However recently over the past month they have managed to gain access to my mobile phone number and they keep on ringing me? I was just hoping for anyones advice or if anyone has been in the same situation. I'm not sure whether to just pay the fine (£160) or ring them and tell them about my situation. Thanks.
