applied for a pcv provisional license to enable me to become a bus driver and was instructed by the dvla to go for an exercise ecg (because of a slight heart attack las year) which I attended thismorning the stress test took place on a treadmill and started at a steady pace on an incline and after 3 minutes inclined further and got faster after another 3 minutes it inclined more and got even faster round about 7 mph I am told but don't know for sure but I only managed 7 minutes altogether but the dvla guideline is 9 mins my question is do the dvla just check for my heart condition which according to the doctor was fine or do they look at my physical fitness too I am 51 and about 25 stone have been told average is between 7 and 8 mins but am nervous now that I might have failed.
