  • Voluntarily termination

hi everyone. im just past the 50% mark now and am very nervous about going through the process of vt (with close motor finance) I have never done this before. before I do return I have to do a little work on the car (this week hopefully) and write to them early next week. next payment is due 1.12.2019 do I still let them take that? im just frightened of getting all sorts of letters from them
    many thanks in advance

As long as the payment due date has not passed by the date of termination, you don't need to pay the next instalment regardless of what Close Motor Finance say - they may try but then its up to you if you want to pay or not.

Nothing stopping you from sending the letter this week because most lenders are not the quickest to respond and others who have posted recently have suggested a potential wait time of 4-6 weeks for collection.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
