    Hi I have a problem with BT. Over 12 months ago I cancelled their services and sent them a cheque to clear my account. They have now put the account in the third debt collection agency. Each time when I give the debt collectors the copies of letters I have kept I hear no more from them but a few months later I get another collection agency to deal with. How do I stop this hounding.

    Out of interest, did they cash the cheque?

      Yes they did, so they must have received my letter telling them why their balance was wrong. I've never had a reply.
