  • Strike out claim because of an unsigned cheque

I made a cheque payment for pursuant to an Employment Tribunal deposit order, but forgot to sign the cheque. After 2 months the tribunal have struck out my claim. The tribunal never informed me and asked that I re issue a signed cheque by a certain date. Can I appeal the strike out on basis intention to pay by sending cheque but oversight with signature?
