  • High Court England — How do you research and follow current cases

The press often cover cases that are dealt with at the High Court.

However, the reports don't provide information about which part of the High Court dealt with the case.

Currently I'm interested in a case that was reported in the press in July of this year and that it was subject to appeal later this year in October.

Try as I might I can't find any reference on the High Court website of the July proceedings or indeed the upcoming case.

Researching recent High Court cases appears to this member of the public something of an arcane art and I need some guidance on what steps I need to follow to unlock the secret.

I don't have access to any law reports or similar. Just the internet

Grateful for any help and guidance.

Not every court case is reported and those that arent are picked up by law reports.

    Have you tried Bailii?

otherwise you give the full name of the case I can have a look for you.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
