  • Case management conference

I've just received papers to attend my first case management conference which states that it's simply a hearing to give directions of what steps need to be taken and by when to bring the matter on for trial at a later date. I am the claimant. Do I have to prepare any documents for this meeting or do I just turn up?

You do not have to prepare any new document for this, but it would be wise to bring the existing documents with you.

it would be worth trying to get case management directions agreed where possible. That would make life a little easier
