  • Ending PCP by VT just after 50% payment

Hi R0b, I'm wondering if someone can help. I want to end my pcp agreement on the 31st of October 2019, but my last payment would need to be on the 9th of October 2019 to get me over 50% of the agreement value, therefore I need to inform them of my intention before this date. Can I send them an amended version of the template ending it on the date specified and that my last payment will be on the 9th of October with the total paid after that point etc? The reason I want to do this is to make sure I have a car while trying to sort another.

You can terminate at any time so when you terminate is your choice. All you need to do in the letter is say something along the lines of the termination date will be 31 October 2019.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
