  • Parking fine

Hi I got a parking fine from CP PLUS LTD. and I wanted to know if I should pay it. I have had this fine for a few months now and the charge is £140 on the CP plus website, however this has moved on to the debt management collectors and they are charging £150 who have added on £10. but the charge of £140 is still available for me to pay. First of all. Do I have to pay this as I have herd that CP Plus fines are not government parking fines? And if I do have to pay it, can I not just pay the £140 fine that is still on the website as I feel the debt management collectors are just trying to make some easy money of me. Please let me know.

They can take the matter to court for breach of contract. It is not a fine but an invoice for a charge agreed by the driver if the conditions of parking were breached.

So post up the PCN you received, redacted of identifying information but leave dates. Do not hint at the identity of a possible driver
