    Car insurance

    my son is at university and wants to use his car when he is there but it is insured at our home address . He is living in student accomidation off campus during term time but returns home out of term ,week ends etc so 50/50 split . Will his insurance cover him whilst at university ? . Any advice would be great full .

    Suggest info will be in policy document as each company varies and there is no yes/no answer.
