My son has just received an enforcement order for a speeding ticket he received last November. The ticket was sent to an old address and the first he knew of it was when the fine enforcement was sent to him last week. He now faces fine/ban for not responding in the first place. He has had a speeding ticket before and paid immediately. His work depends on his licence. How do we sort it in ten days?

As long as the police served it on the last known address then there's not much argument on that side. It's usually the fact that an address wasn't updated with the DVLA as the reason that address was used.

How long has he been driving and how many points has he got ? What speed/speed limit was it ?
