  • Hi everyone - Equita issue

    Hello everyone,

I'm currently having an issue with Equita.

I recently received a "removal notice" from Equita. This is the first letter I have received in relation to this, so obviously I was a little surprised.

It doesn't say how much I owe, just that my car will be removed, impounded and sold at auction.

I have checked the code that they have provided on the TFL website and it turns out I forgot to pay congestion charge back in November last year (2018).

I've just tried to call them and was waiting to speak to someone for 8 minutes before being told that the systems were down and they were only taking reference numbers and names and that they will call people back when the system is back up.

Any help or advice with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

How long have you lived at your current address? Is this the same address as the one when the infringement occurred? Is the address on the V5 for your vehicle correct?
