Three weeks ago got home to a hand delivered final notice from marstons for £735.rang bailiff who told me it was for an unpaid magistrates fine(Which I knew nothing about)total fine £400.he told me to borrow money off family and he would be back that week to gain entry even if I was not home.after speaking to a company that helps with bailiffs I am taking out an IVA but this debt is nt covered as it was for littering(I flicked a fag end and a local agent had been following me)they advised me to email marstons and screenshot the text that I'd had from the bailiff.id already offered £30 a week which is why the bailiff told me to ask family as he wanted the full amount.they also advised emailing an income and expenditure, which I did.i have heard nothing from marstons.ive tried to pay £30 a week online but it will only let you pay full amount.what I want to know is there any other way of paying or do I just keep hold of this £30 until they come knocking?

Have you spoken to the Court to find out why you heard nothing - you may be able to make a Statutory Declaration which if accepted takes the case back to the beginning and wipes the Bailiff fees. May I ask which company that helps bailiffs you have spoken to as some are useless.
