  • PCP excess mileage

Hi just joined as I need help in what to do in regards to Audi finance letter regarding my excess mileage.
ive VT vehicle,no other money is wanted as it was in excellent condition.
I've been told that I don't need to pay from other sources however I would appreciate my rights as now I've had a letter stating they might send bailiffs in or start court proceedings.

    Hello

I'm sure they letter doesn't actually say they might send in the bailiffs or start court proceedings because in order to send the bailiffs to your address, Audi must have first issued proceedings and obtained judgment against you - So I'm fairly certain that their letter doesn't say that because they can't legally do it.

I am happy to be corrected if you show us the letter that says this.

As for your rights, I suggest you read the link below as there are plenty of posts about excess mileage.

      Thanks for reply
This is the paragraph word for word stating the possibilities.
If we do not receive payment or your proposals for making payment within 7 days we have no alternative other than to continue with further action which could be any of the following..
      1.recieve further letters or calls
2.instruct an external debt collection agency to contact you.
3.instruct our legal agents which may lead to them commencing proceedings against you for the payment of the full balance.
      Any thoughts?? Thanks Sim

So nothing in there says they will send in the bailiffs.

I would refer you to the link I posted earlier, it has everything you need or you can search the forum for 'excess mileage' and you'll find plenty of information.
