Shoplifting

I used to shoplift fairly frequently over a year ago. It was stupid and I知 living permanently with the feelings of guilt from it. Is there any possibility I could face any prosecutions from my actions over a year ago? I genuinely think about it everyday. I google it all the time and terrify myself as some people say it痴 possible to still face arrest even though the likelihood is slim. What can I do with myself?

Why do you think the incidents will pop up over a year later?
Any CCTV coverage will be wiped by now (normal retention is 31 days), and if there was other evidence and a desire to prosecute you would have heard by now.
