I can’t deal with the guilt I feel from when I previously shoplifted. Is there any possibility at all that a store would hold onto CCTV footage? Or do they only hold this footage for a certain amount of time. I know lots of people shoplift but I find guilt quite a difficult emotion to deal with. This incident happened longer than a year ago and I don’t know why I did it.

So what makes you think they are holding on to the CCTV images? Or even scanning images looking for shop, ifting? Browsing images on the off chance wastes a lot of time and is not undertaken lightly.

It’s just paranoia! I think I needed someone to tell me how ridiculous I’m being. Shoplifting is dumb but there’s much worse things going on in the world. I’m being stupid.
